Shree Manan Dham

A magnificent temple built according to the scriptures with the inspiration of the most revered Shri Vaishno Deva Maa Ji. It was constructed following the principles of Vastu Shastra and is famously known as the Shankh Wala Mandir due to the presence of a large conch (shankh) on its pinnacle. This temple’s grand size signifies that it is a significant place for all deities of the Sanatan Dharma, from which the pleasure of visiting Charo Dham is derived.

The conch atop the temple, which stands 31 feet tall, leaves architects and engineers in awe. The base of the temple reaches an impressive height of 108 feet. Beneath the conch structure, there is an octagonal arrangement. During the rainy season, raindrops that fall on the conch perform an abhishek (ritual bath) for the Shiva linga below.

The foundation stone of this temple was laid on January 31, 1992, by the esteemed Her Holiness Shri Vaishno Devi Ji and the conch was unveiled by the former Vice President of India, His Excellency Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, on January 20, 2003. Devotees from far and wide come to visit this temple, and as soon as they step foot in Shri Manan Dham, they experience a profound sense of spirituality. All worldly distractions and illusions fade away, and they eagerly seek a peaceful glimpse of the divine presence.
